Owl Shelf Sitter

Ok, I take back the other times I've said a new creation is my favorite!!  THIS is it! (Plus he looks like I do in the morning!)

This adorable owl stands 8 inches tall and includes his "perch" to sit on.

He is made entirely of Basswood, laser cut, and then I hand paint each piece before assembling him.

His main body and his wings are a dark Walnut color and his tummy and eye fluff are a medium grey.

After painting him, I use various techniques to give his feathers depth and highlights.
